One of Raiffeisen Bank's major strategic initiatives in recent years has been the digitization of banking products and services. Various digital solutions have been developed and implemented, including digital platforms for banking services, such as Raiffeisen Plus, which allows customers to manage their accounts online in real time; and digital platforms for banking products, such as RaiKesh or E-Finance, which allow individuals and businesses to apply for loans online.
The introduction of such digital solutions has influenced the ease of use of banking products and services, as evidenced by the different types of research that the bank conducts with all types of customers. This success, as well as the intention to continue bringing other digital innovations to customers, has created a need for the bank's technology and information employees to work as a collaborative community to interact and share ideas as efficiently and quickly as possible. Thus, in June 2022, the Bank established the Tech4Tech community, which consists of about 300 technology and information employees working in four different departments of the bank: the Information and Technology Department, the Security Department, the Data Analytics Department, and the Competence Center.
Throughout the last few months, the Tech4Tech community has organized a variety of activities, such as DevPortal or Cyber Security Month, in which experts from Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) and external experts working in Kosovo have also participated. Employees of the Tech4Tech community can also participate in a variety of digital projects and solutions led by the RBI or in collaboration with other banks in the RBI network in Central and Eastern European countries. This enables them to learn more, develop professionally and gain international experience.
The Tech4Tech community is also open to young students of technology and information studying in the universities of Kosovo. Through the RISE program (Raiffeisen Internship & Scholarship for Engineers) which was introduced in September 2022, Raiffeisen Bank in Kosovo has offered these students the opportunity to apply for scholarships and internship. 5 of the 14 selected students began their internships at Raiffeisen Bank in January 2023, in departments that they chose.
More information about the latest news, activities, department’s role and responsibilities, as well as Tech4Tech work environment, can be found in the community corner which is part of the official website of Raiffeisen Bank:https://bank.raiffeisen-kosovo.com/sq/tech4tech/home.html
