Raiffeisen Bank donates school bags and equipment in Pejë

A day before the start of school, Raiffeisen Bank in Kosovo in cooperation with the Vienna-based CEE Stepic Charity, donated 530 school bags and equipment to pupils in the Municipality of Peja.

The selection of pupils who benefited from this donation was made by the Municipality of Peja across 26 different schools.

In a small ceremony, Ms. Iliriana Toci, a Member of the Board, handed over the school bags at the Xhemajl Kada primary school. Ms. Toçi noted: “Children are our future, and this is the least we can do for them. We thank the Municipality of Peja for the good cooperation to successfully implement this initiative.”

This initiative started five years ago, and so far, the bank has also donated in other cities, including Pristina, Prizren, Gjilan, and Mitrovica. During the pandemic, the bank also donated tablets to facilitate online learning.

Raiffeisen Bank in Kosovo remains committed to contributing to the community through various initiatives.
