#FeelGoodOctober: A month of activities promoting physical and mental well-being

A wide range of activities aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among our staff members were held as part of the #FeelGoodOctober initiative. This comprehensive program, which marked its first edition this year, offered various sports and educational activities that drew the interest of many employees.

Carried out throughout October, #FeelGoodOctober was organized by the Department of People, Culture, and Learning, which is actively seeking ways to promote a work environment that prioritizes the well-being of our employees.

Regarding physical activities, the program included regular morning jogs in Germia Park in Prishtina, cycling and hiking adventures, as well as yoga and pilates. A step challenge was also part of the program, meaning the top three teams that took the most steps during this time were awarded a prize at the final event of the initiative – the Health and Wellbeing Fair.

Other activities included a cooking session, blood donation, and a couple of workshops. Let us highlight a few of those activities:

Blood donation

We were pleased to see around 100 of our staff members respond to the call for blood donation. Donated blood is vital for patients facing critical health circumstances that need immediate blood transfusions and therefore Raiffeisen Bank in Kosovo gladly implements this initiative annually.

“Let's talk about Mental Health”

This session was organized on the World Mental Health Day and was aimed at increasing awareness among our colleagues about mental health issues, helping them understand the importance of mental well-being and how it
can affect our work and personal lives.

Positive Discipline in Everyday Parenting

This was a relevant session for our colleagues who are raising children. Held on 4th October, the workshop facilitated by Save the Children aimed at providing insights and information which would help the parents to effectively reach a work-life balance.
