How are your personal data treated while doing business with the bank?
In providing our services we have applied strict rules to keep your personal data protected to the utmost extent. By implementing the Law no. 06/L-082 for Personal Data Protection and General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR), we continue to protect and use your personal information with an additional level of security and strict rules of privacy along with a very transparent data processing procedure.
Basic Information
The Law no. 06/L-082 for Personal Data Protection determines the rights, responsibilities, principles with respect to the protection of personal data and privacy of individuals. This Law determines responsibilities of the institution responsible for monitoring the legitimacy of data processing and access to public documents.
This Law is in compliance with the Regulation (EU) GDPR 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) refers to the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data to the effect of better level of protection of the rights and freedoms of natural persons with regard to the processing and movement of such data. The Regulation is applicable in all countries of the European Union.
Which data are processed and from which sources do they come?
We process the personal data that we receive from you in order to provide the banking services requested. In addition, we process data that we have legitimately received and from publicly available sources (eg business register, association register, land register or media) or that are provided legitimately by other companies affiliated with the bank.
Personal information that are processed and collected include:
- personal details and contact information (e.g., name, address, date and place of birth, nationality, etc.)
- identity and document information (such as signature sample, ID information).
- socio-demographic data and employment data
- information on the selected communication channels with RBKO including marketing
- business relationship data concerning you as an RBKO client
Your Consent for Personal Data Processing and Use
By signing the consent on data processing and use, you personally decide whether you wish to agree to your personal data being used for the purpose of specially created individualized offers, as to receiving information on the latest campaigns and more favorable offers. You can sign the consent statement at any RBKO branch, and should you change your mind later on, you can just as easily withdraw your consent.
