Terms and Conditions of Raiffeisen Bank Kosovo J.S.C. for Using Apple Pay
- Definitions
- Apple Distribution International LTD – company headquartered in Holly Hill Industrial Estate, Cork, Ireland (hereinafter: Apple);
- Apple Pay – service operated by Apple that enables a Visa card user to make contactless payments and withdraw cash from ATMs supporting contactless transactions via Apple devices;
- Apple Pay User – a user of the Apple Pay service with a Visa card;
- Apple Device – any Apple hardware supporting Apple Pay via NFC (e.g., iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, MacBook);
- Wallet – the mobile app within iOS for managing cards;
- Apple ID – the user’s Apple account used for Apple Pay;
- Qualified Card – a Visa debit or credit card issued to the User, eligible for Apple Pay registration;
- One-Time Verification Code – code required to register a card via Apple Pay.
2. Apple Pay Usage Conditions
2.1. Apple enables Apple Pay payments through the Wallet app installed on Apple Devices. The service allows Users to add Visa cards and manage tokens (digital representations of cards).
2.2. Once added, Users can make secure payments in stores, apps, and websites that support Apple Pay and accept Visa.
2.3. Personal data processing details are available in the Bank’s “General Data Protection Information” document on www.raiffeisen-kosovo.com and at Bank branches.
3. Registering a Card in Apple Pay
3.1. To use Apple Pay, the User must:
a) have a mobile number registered with the Bank;
b) have an Apple ID;
c) enable device security (PIN, Face ID, or Touch ID);
d) enable iCloud;e) accept these Terms during registration;
f) use a compatible device (Devices compatible with Apple Pay - Apple Support https://support.apple.com/en-us/102896).
3.2. Adding a Qualified Card may require full card number, expiration date, and CVV2/CVC code.
3.3. To register a card in the Wallet app:a) the User receives a one-time verification code via SMS and enters it into the app;b) registration may also be initiated via the Bank’s mobile app (if supported), confirming it with an in-app PIN.
3.4. Apple and the Bank reserve the right to register cards without additional verification if necessary.
3.5. Users may register multiple cards in Wallet.
3.6. The first registered card becomes the default payment card. Users can change the default selection later.
3.7. The Bank is not responsible for Wallet app functionality in case of device incompatibility, device malfunctions, network issues, or interruptions from card schemes or Apple.
3.8. In the event of loss, theft, or misuse of Wallet data, the Bank will not reissue the card but may disable token creation if abuse is suspected.
4. Transactions
4.1. Transactions via Apple Pay are allowed within limits set by the Bank or specified per card.
4.2. Transactions may be completed by:
a) presenting the Apple Device to a contactless POS and, if required, entering the card PIN;
b) selecting Apple Pay in-app or online and confirming the transaction on the Device.
4.3. If multiple cards are registered, the User may choose which one to use. If not selected, the default card is used.
4.4. Users can view recent Apple Pay transactions in Wallet, and can access full transaction history via Raiffeisen Online, mobile app, and monthly card statements.
4.5. For foreign transactions, additional verification (e.g., signature) may be required.
5. User Obligations
The Apple Pay User must:
a) protect the Device from unauthorized use, loss, or theft;
b) immediately notify the Bank if the card or card data is lost or stolen;
c) notify the Bank immediately about loss, destruction, theft, unauthorized access, or use of a Device with an active token;
d) regularly monitor the account linked to the card and report any irregularities without delay;
e) prevent transactions by unauthorized third parties and ensure biometric and security data on the Device are personal;
f) protect PIN and other security features from exposure or misuse.
6. Token Removal & Card Blocking
6.1. Removing a token from Apple Pay deletes it only from that Device. Card blocking follows the Bank’s standard procedures.
6.2. If a Device is reported lost, the Bank must identify the User and the Device.
6.3. In case of Device compromise or unauthorized access, the Bank will remove the token.
6.4. If the card is blocked, the Bank will revoke all related tokens across all Devices.
7. Final Provisions

The Bank reserves the right to amend these Terms. Changes will be communicated to the User in advance via post or email.
